Aul Magic+/
at Scottsdale Arabian Show, 2001
with his trainer,
Patience Prine-Carr
Like his sire Aulrab and grandsire Aurab,
Aul Magic+/
began a brief
show career late in life.
His professional training
did not
start until
August, 2000 -
at age 15!
That November, Aul Magic competed at his first
show
under saddle - the Grand National Show at the Cow Palace
in San Francisco.
Against more seasoned show horses, he
won two Reserve Championships (in Show Hack and
Country
English Pleasure) and won the Arabian Native Costume class.
Aul Magic's second Arabian horse show was
the competitive and prestigious
Scottsdale show, in February 2001.There, he delivered
what The Arabian Horse World called "the kind of show most owners only dream about."
He placed well in the
main arena as well as sweeping his dressage classes and became the first Scottsdale Sport
Horse
In-Hand
Champion Stallion. His score included 9.5 points awarded for movement by the judge, Olympic champion Hilda Gurney.

Between the above two shows, Aul Magic+/ was
shown at two open Dressage shows, where he won against all breeds.
In addition to his dressage wins,
Aul Magic+/ was Reserve Champion Show Hack at the prestigious Scottsdale
Arabian show and the Regional Champion English Show Hack in two highly competitive Regions (in California and Nevada).

His ability to excel in a wide variety of classes in such
a short period of time demonstrated
Aul Magic's versatility, athletic ability, intelligence,
and willingness
to perform (work ethic).
Aul Magic's Sport Horse In-Hand wins reflect his balanced conformation and
superior dressage movement.
